Instructions:

1. Open the link in browser (either on computer or phone is ok, i’ve tested Safari and Chrome).

1. Log into OpenAI account if you haven’t already.

NOTE: If you are on phone and have the ChatGPT mobile app, DO NOT try out this workflow in the app even if the web version redirects to the app. The app sucks and is so buggy that it will most likely fail to work. After log-in, the web version will automatically launch the ChatGPT mobile app if you have that installed. What you need to do is to close the app, come back to the browser, and revisit the Custom GPT link again. 2. Now you should be in the Custom GPT window with an account logged in. Tap on the “What are the coffees in my current inventory?” prompt to invoke the GPT.

3. Once you trigger a prompt, you will be guided through a sign in / sign up process of Coffee Keeper’s backend API. Don’t be afraid to click on the links that it asks you to open. ChatGPT will redirect you to a third-party sign-up page where you can sign up an account using your email address, password, and an email verification code.

At the end of it, the experience should redirect you back to ChatGPT window and show a “Your account is now connected” banner at top. The triggered prompt will then continue to run and output your current coffee inventory. I already gave y’all a bag of nice coffee for free ;)
